Lobuche peak is suitable to collect necessary experience for those who plan to go high mountain expedition in future. As it is located in the Everest region which is also known as Khumbu region attracts the climbers and trekkers all around the world by its natural beauty.
The route of this peak goes through the beautiful forest of pine, juniper and rhododendron which make their journey untried. On the way trekkers crosses the beautiful falls, calm lakes, immaculate Rivers and sacred monasteries which mark this journey as an unforgettable moment of their life.
Our representative will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. If time permits, we will have a brief meeting about the trekking in our office. O/N at hotel.
Before climbing to the peak, you must have Peak Climbing Permits. While we arrange these permits, you will be taken to Balaju, a natural rock climbing spot for your climbing course before departure to Lukla. The one-day course will provide excellent opportunities to learn how to use rope, harness, Ice axe, crampons and keeps you physically prepared. O/N at hotel.
Our guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to the airport. You will catch early morning flight to Lukla. It takes about 45 minutes to reach Lukla. After taking breakfast in Lukla, trek to Phakding (2610m). It takes about 4 hours to reach Phakding. O/N at logde.
After taking breakfast, trek for about 7 hours to reach Namche Bazaar, the famous town in Solukhumbu. The last 3 hours of this trek will be tougher but the gorgeous sceneries around the route enthrall you so that you will forget your tiredness. O/N at lodge.
To adjust your body with the high altitude, we will spend the day for acclimatization. During daytime, you can explore beautiful Khumjung village or take one hour walk up to the Everest View Hotel for the sunset view of Ama Dablam, Nuptse, Lhotse and Everest. O/N at lodge.
After a 6-7 hour trek, you will reach Tengboche. From here, one can get a spectacular panorama of Ama Dablam and Thamserku rising in the horizon. Tengboche is famous for its legendary monastery, the largest in the Khumbu region. O/N at lodge.
Dingboche lies at about a walking distance of 6-7 hours. Due to the increasing altitude, your pace will be slower as compared to the previous days. O/N at lodge.
This will be the second acclimatization day. If you wish you can make a day trip to Chhukung Valley and back to Dingboche. From Chhukung valley, you can see the stunning views of the various mountains. O/N at guest house.
After 5-6 hours treks you will reach Lobuche. From here one can see the spectacular view of Mt. Pumori (7145m), Changtse (7550m) at the head of the valley whilst Everest remains hidden behind the towering walls of Nuptse andLhotse. O/N at guest house.
Lobuche to Kapatthar is about 2 hours hiking. Kalapatthar is well known as a perfect viewpoint to see all major parts of the Himalayan range, including Mt. Everest itself. If the weather permits, you will get an opportunity to see a fascinating sunrise that you will not find elsewhere in the world. From Kalapatthar return back to Gorak Shep. O/N at guest house.
Today you will be heading towards the Everest Base Camp. After walking for a few hours we will reach Everest Base Camp. In the evening we can view the beautiful sunset over the majestic Mt. Everest.Then we will return back to Lobuche. O/N at guest house.
It takes about four hours to reach Lobuche Base Camp. After walking half way on flat land, you follow steep ascending path to reach the Base Camp. The path is quite rocky and it moves along the bank of Lobuche Glacier. En route, you get to enjoy the spectacular views of Cholatse, Tawache, Ama Dablam, Pokhalde, Thanserku, Kantega, etc.
Today is a rest day at the Base Camp for acclimatization and also for making necessary preparations for the climb.
You begin your climb as you hike over smooth slabs following the stone markers onto the hard snow. You head along the knife-edged ridge, less than 12inches (25 centimeters) in places to reach the summit. At the summit, you will catch panoramic views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Tawache, Cholatse, Pumori, Changri, etc. After enjoying at the summit, return to the the Base Camp. O/N at tent.
Descend all the way downhill passing Duglha, you will finally arrive at Dingboche. On the way you are rewarded with the spectacular views of Cholatse, Tawache, Ama Dablam, Pokhalde, Thamserku, Kantega, etc. O/N at Base Camp.
Trek along a gradually descending path to reach Tengboche. En route, you pass villages such as Pangboche and Shomare. O/N at guest house.
From Tengboche you descend to the bridge over the Dudh Kosi at Phunki Tenga, where there are water driven prayer wheels, before making your way back to Namche. O/N at hotel.
Your final day's trekking follows the Dudh Kosi River to arrive at Lukla. This last evening in the mountains is the ideal opportunity for a farewell party with the Sherpa guides and porters. O/N at hotel.
Fly back to Kathmandu where we will transfer you to your hotel. At the day time you will enjoy with Nepali food at Thamel, a tourism hub of Nepal. O/N at hotel.
After breakfast you can enjoy a full day Kathmandu city tour with our tour guide. The sightseeing program is focused on to introduce some highlights and UNESCO World Heritage sites of Kathmandu such as Durbar square, Swoyambhunath (monkey temple), Pashupatinath and Bouddhanath. In the evening, we will purchase souvenir for your nearest and dearest at your choice in Thamel. O/N at hotel.
After breakfast, the trip ends. Our representative will transfer you to the airport for your next destination. Even if you wish to stay longer in Nepal and depart on a later date, we would always love another opportunity to serve you.
