We trek up the valley to Kyangjin, where we camp in a superb setting, dominated by the fluted north west face of Kangchenpo, whilst Kyangjin Ri provides a splendid viewpoint. From Kyangjin, we move further up the valley to Yala, a small yersa (summer hamlet). Basing ourselves here allows time to walk to the top of Tsergo Ri (5066m), the highest point on a broad flat plateau. The views from here are as spectacular as anywhere in the Himalaya, a 360 degree panorama of snow capped mountains including Langtang Lirung, Pemthang Ri, Langshisha Ri, Dorje Lakpa, and Kangchenpo.
If you are lucky with the weather, the summit gives grand views of Shishapangma. This is an excellent peak as a “first time” adventure in the Himalayas. The route involves a base camp at the end of the trail and a high camp a further half day’s trek beyond base.

Before climbing the peak, you must have Peak Climbing Permits. While we arrange these permits, you will be taken to Balaju, a natural rock climbing spot for your climbing course before departure to Besisahar. The one-day course will provide excellent opportunities to learn how to use rope, harness, Ice axe, crampons and keeps you physically prepared. O/N at hotel.
Leave to Syabru Besi by bus early in the morning. From the Syabru Besi, you can see the stunning views of Ganesh Himal. O/N at guest house.
From today embark your trek. The trek ascends up along the Bank of the Langtang River and also passes through Oak & Rhododendron Forest. O/N at Lama Hotel.
Continue your journey by crossing Rhododendron forest and Langtang River to arrive at Langtang Village. The route opens up into a wide valley of yak pastures and scattered Tamang villages with water-driven mills and prayer wheels. From Langtang Village, one can see the stunning views of Langtang Himal. The trail climbs gradually through small villages and yak pastures. After crossing several small streams and moraines, the trail reaches at Kyangjin Gompa. Kyanjing Gompa is surrounded by snow covered peaks in all directions. O/N at guest house.
Today is a day to take rest and explore the area. You can visit the monastery and cheese factory then take a walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri (4350m) for the breath-taking panorama of the Langtang peaks. Trek along the rocky glacier trail to reach Yala Base Camp. You will be quite taken back by the views of Ganchenpo, Naya Kanga, Tserko Ri, Yala peak and others. O/N at tented camp.
Today is our main adventure day, an early start in the morning to climb Yala peak depending on the weather conditions. The climb is straightforward being little more than a walk up steep snow slopes of around 30 degrees. Ice axe and crampons will be needed to summit the peak. At the summit of Yala, you will be stunned by the panoramic views of Shishapangma, Dorje Lakpa, Ganchenpo, Naya Kang, Tserko Ri, Langtang Lirung and many Tibetan mountains. After a successful summit climb, you will walk down to Base Camp. O/N at tented camp.
Resume your trek downhill via rocky glacier trail to arrive at Kyanjin Gompa. O/N at guest house.
Descend down towards the Lama hotel from the same way. O/N at Lama Hotel.
The trail from Lama Hotel to Bamboo is very steep downhill and then trail is much easier. Thulo Syabru is the big village of Tamanag People. O/N at guest house.
Today your journey ends at Sing Gompa following the rhododendron forest and pastures. O/N at guest house.
This day you will follow the descending trail to arrive at Dhunche, district headquarters of Rasuwa District. O/N at hotel.
Drive from Dhunche to Kathmandu. O/N at hotel in Kathmandu.
Before your final departure you can enjoy a day of Kathmandu city tour with our tour guide. In the evening you will engage in shopping and enjoy with Nepali food at Thamel, tourism hub of Nepal. O/N at hotel.
After breakfast, the trip ends. Our representative will transfer you to the airport for your next destination. Even if you wish to stay longer in Nepal and depart on a later date, we would always love another opportunity to serve you.
